Context

I joined the team to help Hermaid transform from a course-based platform into an online telehealth clinic. To ensure a successful transition, my team and I conducted interviews with menopausal women and healthcare experts to understand their experiences, current journey, and challenges.

Some patients are aware that they are going through menopause, while others notice changes in their bodies but are unsure if they are in the menopausal stage.


Other Providers:

  1. Only covers OB/GYNs with minimal expertise in menopause care.

  2. Long wait times for appointments.


Hermaid Platform:

  1. The online course lacks personalized recommendations.

  2. The consultant requires much back-and-forth communication.

Service Blueprint Design


I collaborated with our Founder to map the entire service delivery process, outlining customer touchpoints, employee actions, and internal systems. This process involved gathering input from expert groups and patients, as well as working closely with teams across HR, coordination, marketing, design, development, and legal. The outcome provided clear insights into our service process and ensured team alignment.

Ideating and Defining

I held 3 brainstorming sessions to discuss features with 2 designers and our CEO. After discussion, we prioritized what features we wanted to do first and created a backlog list for future reference. We also created many wireframes to test our ideas.
